Praxis Lead Equity offers a 10-day Culturally Proficient Certification Course for leaders. While many of our clients have been school districts looking to strengthen their school leadership team, this certification course is available for other organization leaders as well.
Cultural Proficiency is a model for shifting the culture of an organization starting with individual transformation followed by organizational change. If you are looking to have a culturally proficient organization, this course offers the tools and techniques you need for both of these facets.
Our Model to Cultural Proficiency
We take an inside-out approach to cultural proficiency for leaders. It start with individual behaviors and moves up through systematic change in the organization. “Culturally proficient leaders display personal values and behaviors that enable them and others to engage in effective interactions among students, educators, and the communities they serve” (Lindsey, Nuri-Robins, Terrell, & Lindsey, 2019).
We acknowledge that we live in a global community and issues of diversity play a role in that. It is time for organizational leaders to face the issues of diversity head-on and embrace them. This will benefit those we serve and strengthen our community.
